Selected time 1:30 PM  –  2:30 PM

Join us for a seated talk led by Rachel Quiñones, an intern at the Cummer in the Education Department throughout the past year. During her time at The College of William and Mary she used research grants to study colonial American artwork because her particular interests lie in the historical context in which pieces were made. Rachel will be discussing early American portraiture in our permanent collection, the various American portraits we have in the Wahl-Stein gallery, including our two Gilbert Stuarts, our Thomas Sully, and in particular the 1845 George P.A. Healy portrait of Andrew Jackson. Tea and light refreshments will be served.

We do not mail tickets.  We check your name at the door the day of the event. No refunds, you must use your reservation for the date purchased. You may print this record as your receipt.
