CANCELED-Workshop: Sea Debris (inspired papercut from plastic debris in the sea) with Artist Hiromi

Papercutting with Artist Hiromi Moneyhun

Using a template and the correct cutting tools, a papercut artist transforms a single piece of paper into a two or three-dimensional artwork. Ancient in its origin, papercutting holds strong in a contemporary setting. Many types of papercutting exist with the more common being tessellation, tiling, pattern cutting, silhouette cutting, and freeform.

Join renowned papercut artist Hiromi Moneyhun as she shares techniques to create your own unique papercut. Each workshop is designed to introduce papercutting techniques; no experience required. Use these techniques to create a take-home papercut design driven by a suggested theme and your imagination.
