Virtual Artist Talk with Nick Cave

The Museum is thrilled to continue with our newest series, Culture & Conversation, with Nick Cave, an American sculptor, dancer and performance artist. Cave is most known for his whimsical assemblage work, as well as found object fabric sculptures aptly named “Soundsuits.” He will discuss how growing up in a large family, raised by his single mother in low socio-economic household shaped his love of found objects and assemblage and led to his rise in the art world.
