Urban Sketching with Artist Princess Rashid 

Sketching is a fun way to discover your environment and develop a visual journal. It helps you see familiar things in a new light because it forces you to really look carefully at people and things. In a way, it teaches you how to see.  

An urban sketcher documents their environment with simple tools like pencils, pens, markers, and/or paint. This workshop will help sharpen your drawing and observational skills so you can begin capturing meaningful moments with a simple sketch.
