Monet was famously quoted as saying “Beyond painting and gardening, I am good for nothing”.  But, that was far from true.  Monet was a gifted host, inviting those he held dearest to evenings filled with joyful conversation, fine wines, and beautifully prepared dishes featuring quality ingredients right from his garden. 

Please join us for Dinner with Monet, a night reminiscent of the artist’s dinners with friends in Giverny.  We will showcase a selection of Monet’s recipes, enjoy French wines, and end the evening just as Monet and his guests so often did, with a stroll through the gardens.  With French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850-1950 closing on September 8^th, what a wonderful way to say au revoir!
