Jill Sonke, Ph.D., a leading advocate for the integration of arts and health, will present an insightful lecture exploring the growing recognition of arts engagement as a powerful contributor to individual and community well-being. Drawing from research and collaborations across healthcare, public health, and cultural institutions, Dr. Sonke will share how participation in the arts can reduce isolation, support mental health, foster resilience, and strengthen social connection.

At a pivotal moment nationally – following Georgia’s recent decision to formally recognize the arts as a resource for mental health – this conversation invites you to consider the role that museums and cultural organizations can play in supporting healthier, more connected communities. You’ll gain fresh insight into how art experiences can foster well-being, belonging, and the human experience.
