Weaver Academy of Art: Integrating Arts into Academic Instruction

This in-service uses multiple-intelligence teaching strategies to introduce teachers to integrating the visual arts, music, creative movement and performance into academic classroom subjects. Using a developmental approach that emphasizes both visual and critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills, the course will support state standards in the visual arts, math, science, language arts, music and social studies and is appropriate for PK-5^th grade.  This in-service is currently only available to teachers that are participating in the Weaver Academy of Art.

Teachers (including grade level, resource, aids and administrators) please choose which school you are from and be sure to include your name and contact information to ensure credit for attending this in-service. Please select "will call" as we do not issue tickets and will have your name ready at check-in on the morning of the in-service.
